Travel

For Saturday's main event (aka the wedding), parking at the venue is limited so we ask that if you are driving from home and not spending the night that you park and take the shuttle from the Hampton Inn and Suites. Shuttle times will be located on the details page. If you can't make the shuttle times work, please carpool to the best of your ability. For all campers please see the parking details on the campers page. The parking lot at Camp Wandawega has very limited spaces and many are spoken for from vendors and guests staying at camp. If you have any questions about parking, please don't hesitate to reach out to Ali or Alex!

Accommodations

There are many options in the Lake Geneva and Elkhorn area, however we strongly suggest booking early as it books up quickly for the summer. The preferred transportation to and from camp will be a shuttle service that will pick up and drop off at The Hampton Inn. Note: Ubers and cabs are few and far between. Parking at the venue is also limited, if you need to drive please carpool.

Hampton Inn Elkhorn Lake Geneva Area

We have a hotel block at the Elkhorn Hampton Inn; use this link or call and mention the “Freitag Pojman Wedding” for the group rate*.
[*In order to get the group rate a stay from Friday to Sunday is required].

We will be having our wedding party and immediate family on site in the camp accommodations for the weekend; please hold tight for details!

Packing Notes

The evenings will be more traditional in the sense that this is a wedding and we'll be dressing up! But the day time will be spent swimming, hiking, chilling outside, and participating in whatever activities sound fun to you. Here are some packing suggestions, but obviously bring what feels right to you and for what you plan on joining for.

  • one summer formal outfit (for wedding night)
  • one dressy-ish outfit (for the welcome party)
  • a swimsuit and towel
  • shoes to hang in
  • shoes to hike in
  • shoes to dance in
  • casual clothes for day time
  • good vibes 😎
